When you pause at the same time you get the death screen, you become frozen. Unable to interact with either menu. The only way I have found to fix this is to completely restart my game which has become very inconvenient. I was playing a PvP server when I was knocked unconscious, from there, I pressed the pause button to try to “Restart” but at that same moment, my attacker finished me off and I got the death screen. I was unable to interact with the menu and I promptly had to restart my game.
