Hello APolitePanda.
In order to make the favourites work you will have to delete your saved data for DayZ. Doing this will clear all of your old favorites and settings, but luckily will not affect your characters on any servers, official or community.

Hover over the DayZ card in the Xbox OS, press the start button and go down to "Manage Game and add ons"
Go down to "Save Data"
Delete the save Data for the account with the problem
Select "DELETE EVERYWHERE", the other option will not solve the problem
Note that doing this will close the DayZ client if its running
After this your favourites should work without any errors.

Regards,
Geez

Worked perfectly

Just a heads up incase you have to give someone this advice in the future. I had to delete my data then close the menu and go back in to it so I could delete everything.

Thanks for the help.
