On server 8882 Livonia NY Official, we’ve been encountering lag switchers (not a huge issues) and some form of game crashers. It’s a localized event discussed in recent forums about a way to overwhelm consoles, it involves surrendering (pose) and dropping items simultaneously. The events occurred on 04/08/2024 on server 8882 Livonia NY by PSN: ImAtKopa and BK-18-Shooter.
We will be in base, we monitor log ins to see them hop on. After a few moments, one of their guys logs out, then our characters that are in the server freeze, where their bodies are vulnerable to be shot and killed while needing to close and reopen app and to respawn by the river once we load back in. We have heard rumors about how the glitch works but have been unable to reproduce it and found public postings offering to sell it.
Our method to counter is having “shifts” of players, several logged in at once, reporting when freeze occurs then closing the app, then others load in. All attempts to stop them using this method have been unsuccessful.
More attachments incoming as this situation develops, we’re starting to livestream to capture them in the process but we need help. No internal process exists to report such players. Feel free to respond for more information regarding this.
