If you have 10+ US mine flags in the automatic rifleman harness and save them in your loadout, when you die and respawn the flags become VERY visible and actively BLOCK your vision...
I actually like that putting the flags in your inventory makes them show up on your characters clothes, just wish they didn't block your vision...
Try putting 10 USA mine flags in Alice automatic rifleman harness, fill extra room with ammo; then save your loadout at arsenal. (no backpack needed)

Then respawn with your saved loadout...
You should be able to see the flags in 1st person, observe in 3rd person
I found this glitch in a public official gamemaster lobby with 20+ people, I don't believe others could see the flags
