Novaya Petrovka Glitch Room Access via Gates
Awaiting internal Testing, UrgentPublic

Description

At certain variants of the apartments located on the south side of Novaya Petrovka there is a room on the third floor which is practically inaccessible and intended to be inaccessible. However it is being accessed by a group of players who have constructed and are defending a base in there. The players showed me how this is done through the use of gates to essentially force the player into the inaccessible room. Once in the room the player inside can shoot through the walls and damage others with projectiles passing through while the player inside is immune to any form of damage from other plays trying to shoot through the room. The player is even able to exit the glitched room by having a friend open a differently positioned gate that forces the player back out of the room. I have been on two separate servers where massive teams of players have used this glitch to essentially make bases in this Novaya Petrovka apartment unraidable as they simply glitch into the room and fire a grenade launcher through the walls of the room and onto players attempting to raid. This combination is incredibly frustrating and is being actively abused by a small amount of players who choose to willingly build at this building for the defensive benefits of this room with no counter.

Steps To Reproduce

If the gate is placed in a position that opens and clips through the room then the glitch can be reproduced consistently and with ease. The second gate can also consistently remove the player from the room once they’re done abusing the glitch.
