Im not sure if that’s a bug or not, so it could be more like a question because my mate and me were a bit confused today:

A military zombie punched my mate and he instantly died by an explosion through that zombie punch. He had 40mm round Grenades on his vest and in the inventory as well. Is it intended that the grenades blow up by a zombie hit? Because so far we only heard of gun shots that can blow up grenades in inventories.
