We have tested this thoroughly but we were unable to produce the issue on our end.

Did you guys watched my posted Video that shows the issue? Maybe that helps? I was playing on a Community Server and they turned off the Container Damage, maybe that caused the issue? Although barrels and tents could be repaired as normally.
