When you are generating a forest for example and build a road through it and check "avoid road" it isn't clearing the road. Its not doing anything. This is happening to all the clearing options as far as I know. It has been tried by multiple people.

Update: If you want to select a single tree from that forest it is also not working. It's selecting the PolylineShapeEntity and not the one tree. It's making things pretty hard to do right now.
I have found some infos. First: The things with the trees were just a problem on my hand. Second, I found out, that for some people it does work. For me, when I click on "break prefab" on the generator, it does clear the roads. Maybe its because it now realized, that something should be done. Its a very weird bug, if it even is one.
I have the same problem: on my map I've placed the forests first and then the roads. Sometimes they are correctly detected by the ForestGenerator and sometimes not. The "break prefab" fix mentioned it's not working for me.
I have the same issue with patch 1.2. Some roads are correctly cleared and others don't. All the generators are correctly configured to Avoid all roads and object
I did a lot of testing and figured out what's one culprit: the spline used for the road must start and end outside the polyline of the forest generator, otherwise sometimes it's not detected correctly
