When an item is dropped no matter what floor it is on. If there is a watchtower or platform above for example the roof. The item that is dropped gets teleported to the top of the watchtower or the top of the platform. So when I’m taking off code locks on the bottom floor they just teleport to the top of our watchtower. I don’t know if this just involves watchtowers and platforms.
