This error completely prevents me from accessing favorites. I had this feature for all of a few minutes before this error popped up while I was trying to clear out all the grey named favorites that populated multiple pages of the Favorites tab.

Per my previous task and the correspondence I received on Jan 4 2023, 5:30 AM, I do understand that I can still play the game and actually join servers with this error. But this is an extremely inconvenient quality of life issue I am wondering if there is any relative ETA to fix this error. A large part of enjoyment of this game at least for myself and those I play with is Community servers so being able to favorite the ones I play is important.

Hello TheKingPsycho.
Can you please try the following?

  • Hover over the DayZ card in the Xbox OS, press the start button and go down to "Manage Game and add ons"
  • Go down to "Save Data"
  • Delete the save Data for the account with the problem
  • Select "DELETE EVERYWHERE", the other option will not solve the problem
  • Note that doing this will close the DayZ client if its running

Doing this will clear all of your favorites and settings, but luckily will not affect your characters on any servers, official or community.
It should also prevent the error from occurring.

I have tried this a few times actually. The issue that I think occurs is when you go to delete save data there is just a “Delete All” options

Furthermore when I select that

It states Synced data will still be on the Xbox network. And still following through deleting that save data and relaunching the game

I still get the same error. All photos were taken in real time while typing out this reply

Okay I did some more diving and found the issue

You have to go to save data. Hover over the relevant gamertag. Press the options button (3 lines) and you get this

Upon selecting the only available option this pops up

Selecting Delete Everywhere 100% gave me my favorites back. Your response helped me sort that out you are a champion thank you so so much
