BTR-50K Transport, AI will not man gunner's seat.

All test were run with no mods loaded, not even CBA. Only SOG loaded and Bohemia DLCs (Marksman, Karts, Jets, Tanks, Apex, and Contanct) no CDLCs loaded (other than SOG of course).

Does anyone know how to set a gunner for the BTR-50 in the editor? If I put a three man crew in one, the driver and commander work fine, but when testing the mission in the editor, the gunner always leave the gunner's seat (HMG right top hatch) and sits in the forward most passenger seat on the left.

I've tried putting in the gunner's init
this assignAsGunner cobra1;
where cobra1 is the name I've given the BTR-50, but when launching from the editor, he leaves the gunners seat to a passenger seat again.

Another issue, is the BTR50 can hold around 16 or more passengers, but only 8 will board it when using the get in waypoint in the editor. Four will get in the fire from vehicle slots, and four whill get in passenger seats, anymore in the squad will not get in and will only follow on foot.

The gunner position doesn't work with AI, I've even tried assignasgunner, moveingunner and even starting the crew outside and moving them in with a waypoint, and none will move into the gunners seat. Even if I use the moveingunner script command, the gunner will immediately vacate the gunners seat and move to that one passenger seat.

Also tried having the gunner as an individual with no group, and used assignasgunner and moveingunner, he immediately vacates the gunner's seat and move to the front left passengers seat.

I tried setting the gunner as group leader as well, thinking maybe the commander keeps ordering him out of the seat, figured if he's in charge he wouldn't be ordered to do it, launch the mission and he immediately moves from the gunners seat to the seat of shame.

I'm still trying to brainstorm a solution, I tried locking the seat of shame, but as you may have guessed the gunner still leaves the gunner's seat at mission launch, he just moves into the next available cargo seat

Day 2, further troubleshooting on the BTR50 issue.
I tried launching the game with the gunner as player, and I get immediately forced from the gunner's seat to cargo 0 again. I tried setting the gunner again alone as his own group, and still after launch I get forced from the gunner's seat and into cargo 0

Just tried filling every possible seat as a test to see if having no alternative seat to switch to, then perhaps the gunner will then stay in his seat. Launch the mission and the gunner jumps out of the vehicle.

In summary, the gunners seat on the BTR-50 is broken. The AI will not under any any circumstance use that seat.

I've tried basically everything I can at this point. I'm completely stumped

Place a BTR-50K transport in the editor. place another soldier and group him to the transport group and drag and drop him onto the BTR, he'll be placed in the gunner's seat. Launch the mission. He will immediately vacate the gunners seat to the next available seat. Trying all kinds of other script command tricks like assigngunner, moveingunner, assignturret will have the same result when the mission starts, the gunner will immediately vacate the gunners position and move to the next available seat in the BTR. Changing group's behaviour to either safe, aware, combat and careless will still produce the same result. If setting the gunner to player control, when launching the mission you will also be forced from the gunners seat as well.
