There's no 'boom' or explosion sound associated with the detonation of the round, only a sound of flying shrapnel. Also, the time shrapnel starts rendering impacts upon the ground seems delayed by a good few seconds. This was all tested while simply firing at different heights of a palm tree at distances under 100 yds. Thank you!
