Server Name: DAYZ US - NY 6053 (1st Person Only)
Server IP: 31.214.136.147:10100
Steam ID: 76561198207771551
While driving a sarka to Cherno with my friend in the passenger seat, I was kicked from the server. This left my character in the drivers seat still accelerating, and my friend accepting his fate as a dead man. He told me after that he couldn't switch seats once I had been kicked, because my player was still driving. My character and my friend crashed into a fence going 80km/h in western Balota town, instantly killing both of us.
We both spawned back in frantically trying to get a spawn near Cherno, because the gear we both had was very valuable. We found the car and luckily recovered our bodies untouched. The car wasn't wrecked since the sarka has a rear engine layout, but the radiator was ruined. Feeling frustrated we logged off with as much loot from the car as we could.
I can assure my internet connection is perfectly fine. I have a wired connection with 0% packet loss, <20ms ping, and ~800up/down. I also surpass the recommended specs for the game by a lot with an i9-9900k and an RTX 3080ti. I never get kicked from other games I play, but in DayZ I'm kicked almost every time I play, sometimes even twice in one session. I really think this is unfair to me and my friend since there is nothing we could've done to prevent this. Maybe you could implement a feature that brings the vehicle to a complete stop once the driver has disconnected? Leaving the dc'ed player in the server for 15 seconds would be okay as long as the car doesn't continue to accelerate. I also can't think of a way this could be exploited so I think it should be considered.
Thanks for your consideration about this problem, if there's anything I can do on my end please let me know.
