Hello, my pc specs: RX 6600 XT and i7 8700k and 16gb ram
In every other game I play for example Witcher 3 I get around 140fps at ultra+, squad the same, hades 200+, league 300+, etc.
In Dayz, I get 50 to 90 fps with low or high graphics. (Avg GPU usage is 30 to 45%, CPU usage stays 5-10%, RAM like 12 GB give or take).
Not sure if this happens to every amd gpu, but i saw a lot of threads online that certain amd gpu's only worked up to like 50% power while playing dayz
Game stutters a LOT and i get the same fps whether the graphics are on high or low, i really enjoy dayz but once i upgraded my gpu, i didnt get what i expected (i tested the pc for bottlenecking and it seems fine, i also checked the ram sticks if they are not put in well and everything is ok, i have this problem only on dayz, sadly)
That's a pretty old PC and those games aren't very intensive.
DayZ has a LOT of assets to render. Especially if you're playing modded maps with even more custom assets.
Make sure you're playing in full screen and not windowed mode.
I'm not familiar with windows education edition.. might be losing performance if it's limiting features.
Make sure your power plan settings are set to performance.
