Game auto un-scopes (ADS) player's weapon periodically during long games.
New, NormalPublic

Description

While aiming down sights, the game sometimes repeatedly de-scopes the player's weapon.

It does this several times in a row, over the course of several seconds. And will continue to happen again every once in a while.

The problem gets worse the longer the mission runs, the de-scoping episodes become longer and happen more frequently over time.

Experienced with MP serve and play.

This game is literally listed on EVERY co-op list of games to play during the pandemic, however it is obvious that this is more due to the appeal of the single-player loop in the main game than the multiplayer aspect. Here are some observations following 20 hours of basically nothing but Co-op with both buddies and randos:

The ability to repurchase dead teammates close to the TP was covered in a different post. Resetting runs in the first two to three levels is boring because of the drastic drop-off in XP leveling and item drops. It should be possible without a doubt, whether it costs health, gold, or some other kind of thing. Modern shooters have downs/revives/Gulag systems or extremely quick respawns for a purpose. I'm bringing this up once more because... I don't see why this game is set in the 1960s, when outside multiplayer games were commonplace. If the developers have offered an explanation for why there isn't a revive system haunt the house, I'd be interested in reading it.

Oh no, did I accidentally choose your TP item during item dropping? Is this item on the map in a location that will take you three minutes to get there but is ideal for your build? The ability to trade and drop stuff sounds... sensible, and (at least on PC) there are obvious UI ways to do that.
