You can cook with gas canister and pan only. You can combine gas canister and pan and cook without the need of the canister burner. You can combine the burner with the canister but the burner goes back into the inventory when you combine the pan with burner/canister. The canister burner noise while operating does not stop when the burner is turned off or put away.
