Desync when cutting down a bush for sticks

I'm on Xbox Series X
Issue has happened on community servers
On three different servers when I have use a bladed weapon to cut down a bush to get sticks The game desyncs and will not let me put anything into my hand. I cannot pick up the long stick, I cannot swap to anything else into my inventory. I have to sign out of the server and sign back into fix the problem.
Again this has happened on three different servers. Never had this issue before when trying to get sticks from a bush

  • I had this happen when using a knife on two occasions and the new sword.

Play on community servers
3000 plus hour player
Happened on three different server
Have to sign out of the server and back in to fix the problem. Then I can cut down a bush with no desync.
Two of the servers were high pop, one was low pop

Hi there,

This has unfortunately happened to me as well on multiple occasions on the PS5.
Happen to me on both of my Cherno and Livonia community servers.
Tried on a friend's community server and this also happened on there.

Used a knife to cut bushes to make a fence kit and then put knife away and tried to pick up sticks with hand but wouldn't let me pick up or let me put into my inventory. Allowed me to put long stick into my secondary weapon slot but then couldn't take off my back after that.

Had to sign out and then back into servers to be able to pick up sticks and fix the problem also.
