My in game mic is not working

I am using Shure SM7B with Elgato wave XLR, I have uninstalled the game multiple times and have gone into windows to specifically change what inputs and outputs dayz is using.

Dayz has stopped being recognized by windows under the microphone privacy settings

i have switched the elgato to every usb port I have and still has not worked

I have messed with the in game mic setting multiple times and still no fix.

I have also tried only using my headset microphone and still not working.

Windows privacy setting said Dayz was last accessing my microphone 2/07/23, It has since disappeared since my last install and does not seem to come back implying windows still doesnt recognize a microphone.

If needed I can send logs/screenshots/we can get on a call, anything.

I've seen other people with very similar problem and would be great to get a solution so many others as well as myself can get the joy of interacting with other survivors and not having to kill everyone I come across because I "don't have a mic"
