Description

Steps in order of what happened:

  1. I logged back in to 'DayZ AP - SY 1059' after being off for 3-5hrs.
  2. I got a warning message that some items had been placed on the ground that would not fit in my inventory (my belt was broken so it removed the sheath and holster I had).
  3. I looked around to make sure that I was alone.
  4. I picked these items back up as there was in fact room in my inventory.
  5. I dropped my holster again to remove the pistol so I could still use it.
  6. The moment I tried to drag the pistol out of the holster, I died.

Steps To Reproduce

This just happened to me, and it has respawned me all the way down by Kamyshovo where I have no hope of getting my stuff back.
I am not willing to attempt to reproduce this as it will take me long enough to get set back up as it is.

Additional Information

There was no sound to indicate that I was attacked.
I had logged out/in whilst inside the Mosque in Pogorevka.
I did a quick sweep on logging back in and confirmed that I was alone and the doors were closed.

That character had survived for ages.
I started by Berezino where I had a couple of nice player ineteractions.
Travelled on to Khelm, then Druzbha, then on to Romashka.
I was travelling down to Proud Chenaurus and got as far as Pogorevka when I had to jump off for a while.
I am really not happy this was a bug.
If it was a player, I would be angry but I would get over it. This is just stupid. I was running for hours.
