I am new to the game, but on two occassions, my character has reset. I started off as a male with light skin and brown hair, and a while later after dying a bunch, I respawned as a male with dark skin and no hair. Even later, after creating a new character in the custimization menu, again as a male with light skin and brown hair, I played for a while, died a few times, and respawned as normal. However this time, after NOT dying, but simply logging off, the next time I started the game, the character at the main menu was a female character, and after joining an official server, my character was the female character as in the menu, but without all of the items and progress I made before logging off. So all of my stuff was gone, and I'm a different character again. I tried changing the character to a male again, but as soon as I joined the server, I was the same female in the game and back at the menu after logging off, as if I didn't change anything.

I'm marking "Major" below, because the resetting of my character and not knowing if my stuff is going to be suddenly missing after logging back on makes me not want to play the game anymore. It is already a very hard game, which is fun, but what's messing it up is the instability.
