Description

I took a worn Tripwire and stowed inside a wooden crate, doing so ruined the tripwire and now it’s stuck inside the wooden crate and cannot be removed. Please fix this glitch. Thank you.

It happened again randomly recently. What I noticed is that despite the tripwire was placed within a crate, it becomes desynched in a way that the tripwire appears to be ‘deployed’ within the container.

Even the inventory icon appears like it’s been placed on the ground — when a survivor goes near the container to access the inventory, they trip and make the noises one makes on an active tripwire. This act downgrades the condition of the tripwire by one state. So, in that initial case, the tripwire went from badly damaged to ruined. This made the tripwire not easy to remove from the container. I had to highlight it and drag it to my inventory in a specific way.

Okay great! Thanks for your time.
