On 3 different occassions on 3 different servers have me or a friend died as a direct result of the contaminated zones.

The run down;
Wearing a full NBC kit with 3 gas filters. all filters swapped out at 30%
All NBC clothing is Worn, didn't take damage, didn't bleed
Looted the gas zone an Pavlovo (also happened at Rify) and left the area
Retreated to our dropped items which were safe away from the gas zone
Unequipped our NBC and equipped normal clothing
Start bleeding, bandage the cut and bleed again
And this continues until i run out of bandages and rags, then i start coughing and losing blood x2 with every cough
Always leads to death, even after a fresh blood injection, or a POX vial used. it guarantee's death
Also, the sound of the contaminated zone stays with your character even after leaving the zone.
