The "Turn" and "Pedals" Controls are shared between Helicopters and Planes. Using HOTAS or other joysticks this makes sense but with mouse and keyboard this is kind of weird. Many people learned to fly in other games and may want to copy the controls from these other games. Which is impossible with these restrictions. Adding separately configurable controls wouldn't "hurt" anybody who is comfortable with the current settings but would surely help a lot of "casual" players.
