Hello so in kamensk mb, inside a building I hear footsteps approaching but no one in sight then one punched to death. Instant death. This has happened twice now. Ps4 official.
Literally searching a building nobody around sudden rush of footsteps footsteps attacked to death, no visible player, 100% not a zombie.

They're not hackers. This happens when you're lagging badly and it usually a zombie that does it.

Zombies don't one punch kill anyone and when they do attack they make a very distinctive sound, to the point you'd know it was a zombie even if server lag meant you couldn't see it. I'd safely assume if someone said 100% not a zombie then it isn't a zombie.
That same server lag would result in an invisible player and it is not unusual to see players warping all over the place due to lag.
