Description

Hi dayz team.

Is it possible to reduce the number of SY official servers on PlayStation? The Australian player base can not support all of them and it is really limiting player interaction and gameplay. If a few servers were removed it would breath new life into the game for the aus PlayStation official community by consolidating the players into a small set of high pop servers. Please consider this. I have played thousands of hours on dayz SY official servers and I would love to play thousands more. Thank you in advance

Steps To Reproduce

Look at the server traffic. See that majority of them are empty or extremely low population. Remove some of the lesser played servers and consolidate the player base

Hello hello DayZ team,

What Clapdemcheekshoe has proposed is a solid idea. There are far too many SY servers for the fairly small Australian console player base. Getting rid of some of them to facilitate fewer servers that have higher populations on average would be an amazing move. Please do it!

Hey Geez, another AP-SG/SY Player here. What Clapdmcheekshoe suggested is a great idea, having this many servers for such a small region makes interactions with players less common. I know you’ll understand what we mean, it’s definitely a change that needs to be made.

Hey Guys,
What Clapdemcheekshoe has raised is spot on. I've put 1000s of hours into this game. SY0009 is about the only server for Australians that gets to medium/high pop. If we want to play high pop servers we have to use SG and they lag terribly for us. Consolidating the SY servers to reach high pop is what the Aus/NZ player base needs.

I agree with Clap! Is an awesome idea to consolidate the SY servers to condense our player base. Especially since there is a ton of community servers people can play for different play styles.. (eg PVE) .. but people who play offical.. we really need that interaction.

@Geez what happened dayz team? The 1.17 wipe was the best opportunity to enact this and make positive changes to how the game is played in our region!
