Please add a feature enabling friends (can be done through steam or in-game UI) to be tagged to spawn in the same city.

For new players, the effort required to survive and meet up with their friends is quite high, and is a potential turn-off for someone trying out the game for the first time.

I think a few mechanics would ensure that it remains a quality-of-life change without causing a major impact to the spirit of DayZ:

1. Can only be done with freshspawns. It can be implemented in a way that if you use this feature, you would both (or whatever the group size is) die and respawn as a fresh character. This should prevent any abuse in the form of a teleport etc.
2. The spawn town/location can be completely random
3. The spawn coordinates don't have to be on top of each other, just in a reasonably close distance to each other (within 500m or so is a good distance in my opinion)
4. The players still don't see the friend with any indicators (nameplates/dots etc). Everything remains the same as it is today. You still have to use the same methods to figure out if a particular player is your friend or not

This feature would not make any significant impact to seasoned players (who should be able to get from any point to any point without much trouble) but would make the game a lot more fun to players who are new (and who might already be struggling with the PvE elements). I recently introduced a few friends to the game and could see that it is possible for a group of friends (who are new to the game) to actually play the game for a week and not be able to meet up in game even once. Playing with friends is a lot more fun than solo and the time required to be able to play together should be made just slightly less than what it is right now.
