Vehicles Issues going up hills (Traction loss possible)
Need More Info, UrgentPublic

Description

Testing the span of all vehicles currently available in the console version. It seems that they struggle to go up any inclines regardless of condition, parts, wheels or anything else in player power. Regardless of gear as well (1,2,3,4) or even reverse.

Drive any (working vehicle) up a hill on console.

Additional Information

The only vehicle that does not seem to affect (as bad) is the Cargo truck.

Event Timeline

Can confirm. Vehicles feel like they have a complete loss of power when going uphill, as if being in first gear means nothing. Vehicles will also feel like they are driving on ice even under dry conditions.

Vehicles will also slowly slide downhill sideways when stopped on an incline. Vehicles will also occasionally get slapped by the hand of god and randomly start barrel rolling, frequently wrecking the entire car and/or killing the player.

Hello.
Does this occur when also holding down the left stick button (L3) as that acts as full power for the vehicle?

I have also experienced this on both console (XB1) and PC. i had to drive at gentle angles, completely lost power and traction, even getting a start at around 45 kph, up what would essentially be called a 5 degree hill, very slight. makes it hard to bring cars up from the coast
