the constant shifting of the ocean up and down to simulate waves.....
as far as i understand it is a somewhat a large resource hog, and how the waves get simulated isnt that great.
i.e. there is a constantly moving plane/area/floor taking up resources.
i can imagine this only gets worse the more players or vehicles (modded boats) are on it.
suggestions:
- stop the oceans constant movement up and down. (report back on resources saved)
- redo the waves effect of lapping on the shore in conjunction with new static ocean.
- potentially add a proper much slow tidal system (this can lead to areas being covered and uncovered by water at the shore line at differnt times of the day/night, would make for interesting experiences/adventure).
