When fired at from the top (so the bullets hit the top of the roof), the CSLA Humvee seems exceptionally weak to small arms fire.
I understand that the Humvee is not very well-protected, and I'm on board with taking component damage and being vulnerable as a passenger, but to have the entire thing explode after a couple of 5.56 mags is a bit absurd. The standard hatchback is more resilient!
This seems to be particular to hits from above. The Humvee is still maybe a little too fragile from other angles, but firing from above has a dramatically worse effect.
I also feel like the Humvee explosion is unusually violent for a vehicle without any HE ammunition stores, but that's debatable.
