With a Mortar Ammo backpack equipped you get unlimited ammo for any stationary vehicle regardless of location on the map. This works without mods in both single and multiplayer. With the backpack equipped I can land a CAS helicopter to rearm anywhere or sit in a mounted weapon with unlimited ammo.
