Description

The Axe's melee animation is the same as a bayonet stab.

An axe is chopping based tool and should follow the same animation as its sibling tool the Axe (Fire).

  • Open a mission with the melee arsenal enabled
  • Equip the standard Axe and fire/swing it (Animation will do a jab/stab)
  • Equip the Axe (fire) and fire/swing it (Animation will do a jab/stab)
Additional Information

The holding model for the axe is also scaled small, the current size of the Axe and Axe (fire) are more consistent with a hatchet axe.
An average Felling/Fire axe's length is 28 - 36 inches (2 1/3 - 3 feet) or for metric manufacturers 50 - 65 cm.

Event Timeline

The hammer also does a jab/stab animation rather than a swing.
