This is not a bug/crash report, I just figured this would be the best place to suggest a tweak. Apologies if this is not an appropriate spot to suggest such things.

I believe ladder damage against gloves should be reduced. I say this because on the map Namalsk, in an area known as A3, there are ladders in high-intensity areas. Having to repair your gloves or carry multiple pairs for using these long ladders feels a tad silly and could use for some change.

I understand Namalsk is a modded and unofficial map, however due to the sheer amount of players engaged in the map it makes sense to adjust the game to make the quality of life better for not only that map, but all maps. A precedent has been set for this as a couple updates ago when the maximum heat range for fires was increased, likely due to the necessity for fires in the Namalsk map.

I previously thought increasing glove durability overall would be a good fix, however I've revised my idea to have ladders do less durability damage against gloves. They shouldn't feel indestructible, but you should at least be able to go down 1 or 2 ladders without destroying your gloves.

I mainly just wanted to bring this to your attention. I'm sure you guys, the developer team, might have a better idea on how to solve this issue than I do.
