Gamming monitor with crosshairs (Cheat?)
New, NormalPublic

Description

When playing on servers configured to hide the cross-hair, players using gaming monitors with built-in cross-hair, or software overlay cross-hair have an unfair advantage.

To avoid the use of this kind of cheat, the aim point when hip-firing could have a random offset from the screen center. Maybe the melee and throwing aim point could also use this offset.

Some monitors allow the cross-hair position to be adjusted, so the offset should change every time the weapon is raised to the hip-fire position. The offset should be kept still during firing, or slowly drift, in order to let the player see the tracer/impact point and compensate the offset.

I just realized the fake cross-hair can also be used while aiming down the sight, to eliminate the need of 9V batteries for some types of scopes... So the offset could be useful even while aiming down sight.
