On three separate occasions I have contracted Cholera when drinking from water bottles refilled from a Jerry Can that I purified with chlorine tablets moments before drinking. The last two occasions I used chlorine tablets on the ALREADY CLEAN water immediately before drinking it just to be sure and still contracted Cholera. I was not in contact with zombies within 20+ minutes of these occasions. I had clean hands AND was wearing gloves and on two of the occasions had not butchered an animal in hours. I have not drank water from any other sources. All of the procedures for getting water I have been using for years without issue, only with the most recent patch (1.11) has this been the case. I believe the water in the Jerry Can was originally from a barrel in 2 of the instances, from a water pump in the third instance, but with 100% certainty the water was purified with chlorine tablets MULTIPLE times before drinking just to be sure. The sickness has killed my friend before when he was drinking from a clean water source that I myself was drinking from, yet I did not get sick until hours later, drinking the same water I had been drinking all day. I cannot see any other reason to have contracted cholera, having not been in fights with zombies or players in these instances. I'm not sure what steps must be done to reproduce it, because the same Jerry Can does not always get me sick, but its the only thing I am drinking from and I have been sick 3 times.
