i think issues with flags currently? My field backpacks have despawned despite a flag being up. Can't see flag symbol on the bags either etc. Had a few people say they had same issue. On 2 diff servers.
Does seem like the flags are working with bags, sea chests seem fine.
Put flag on floor.

The flag has certain lifetime refresh timer that is set. Items that have shorter lifetime will still get removed in the flag vicinity. However, there are some special cases for example, when you drop item with three hour lifetime near the flag and the flag refreshes while the item is in its last hour, then it will be reset back to three hours, but will be removed from the vicinity after these three hours.
