Sound popping when getting near other players.

Description

I don't know how else to describe it besides a slight popping noise that coincides with the footsteps of other players when they come within a certain range. Its far enough away that you can't actually hear their steps, even when sprinting but it's a clear indicator that another player is within your zone. It really ruins the suspense when I know if there's someone nearby.

Steps To Reproduce

Simply sit quietly still and have another player(s) walk/jog/sprint from around 150/200 m away and noticed a distinct popping that matches there footstep candence. Its audible well before actual footstep hearing distance. Make sure to have volume up.

Additional Information

When you know the sound to listen for, it always ruins the suspense because a knowledgeable player can be aware of other players before they should.
