So my friend and I have been playing on one of the servers and we were roaming around the Tisy airbase in northern Chernarus. We were wary of gunfire that was coming from a direction in front of us (assuming south). We had built some huts up in the very north to stay close to loot but away from traffic. Point is, we were walking around when all of a sudden my friend and I collapsed to the ground and died. No gunshot, no obvious explanation. We discussed what happened because we had both died at the exact same moment. The theories we came up with were:

1) we had been shot in the head and killed by the other players we heard, thus no audio.

• However, we were certainly alone in the immediate area. I was also wearing a bulletproof helmet, and not standing still. Unless there were two shooters who shot us both in the head at the exact same time. But unless they both had an exquisite aim and armor-piercing rounds in a sniper rifle I find this highly unlikely.

2) The nearby zombies killed us (Note: the server was lagging for both of us)

• The zombies we engaged died and stayed dead, so it's unlikely they were able to kill us unless the game did not register our client location with the server location

3) There was a cheater who force killed everyone.

• I can't provide any evidence that would either support or deny this claim.

Overall we're both very disappointed in this happening because of how hard we worked to get where we were just to die and lose it all with no rhyme or reason.

If the server is lagging, please boot all players and have the server go offline for a bit to prevent this from happening, or if it was the cheater, guess that is a battleye thing.

Other than that We will restart again (we have no choice) but are severely disappointed in the meantime.
