You need to update your game to current version.

Try verifying your game files this will force an update. (In steam RIGHT click on your DayZ game icon, Select Properties then select LOCAL FILES and then click on VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES

Then check your game version number verses server version number (The one with the lowest number needs updating, If its the server there's nothing you can do about it till the owner updates it)
