People can't hear me talking in game. I've hit the CAPS key to talk but my mouth isn't moving. I've tried everything i could think of. I've asked several people, streamers, Official Discord, no one knows how to fix this. I am using an AT2035 Mic with XLR to a Scarlett Focusrite 2i2 (2nd Gen) and Elgato Sound Capture software and Windows 10.
My mic works in other games and applications such as Call of Duty, Overwatch, SQUAD, CS, Valorant, Escape from Tarkov, Discord, Streamlabs, Twitch. It does NOT work in Insurgency: Sandstorm, DayZ, SCUM, and Arma 3.
EDIT* One person said that if they stood basically in my face and i shouted they could JUST BARELY hear me. My mouth still wasn't moving though.
Below i've listed what i've tried:
I'm not wearing a helmet or anything that muffles my voice.
I've increased in-game mic gain to three full lines )))
In Windows Sound Control Panel i've set my [Recording] Default Device to my AT2035 microphone.
In App Volume and Device Preferences for DayZ i've tried both input and output set to DEFAULT
I've also tried setting input to my AT2035 microphone manually.
I've tried reinstalling/updating the audio drivers.
I've tried reinstalling DayZ (several times)
I've tried verifying the DayZ game files
I've tried setting my mic to AT2035 in Steam Friendslist Voice settings
I've tried running it on a clean reboot with no Discord or stream up.
I’ve tried adding a new Windows User and running off that.
