As per the title. I had 6 firewoods and rags as kindling. I tried matches (dry) and a lighter (as it was a modded server). It goes through the motions and plays the sound file, but the fire does not light - same as stone oven, which I reported yesterday.
It probably works outside, I didn't try, but it doesn't work inside the short brown long barn.
