When starting my first base i noticed i kept getting glitched logs/lumber dropping off trees where you cannot pick them up without relogging.
So i expermineted with different approaches and realised the standing/prone position when performing the action causes your character to get glitch where you cannot pick things up.
First glitch = Hold large axe ---- Prone walk up to very tall tree with few leaves that drops 3 logs+ ---- chop tree 2 times so it dosen't fall down and try to pick up the logs or saw the logs with hacksaw.
Second glitch = Hold large axe ---- Prone walk up to very tall tree with few leaves that drops 3 logs+ ---- chop tree down completely and try to pick up the logs or saw the logs with hacksaw.
i have replicated this multiple times with the same affect chopping the tree while prone walking to it and chopping the tree when standing walking up to it.
The same thing happens everytime.
