Description

Glitches:

  • when you pick up and hold a stack of planks in your hands, you cannot drag and drop another stack to the one you’re holding from vicinity in the inventory view, only when you exit the view and open it up again
  • vehicles tend to bounce and shake a lot without a reason both when driving and when idle, also making a noise. Also, they act really weird when being driven: suddenly accelerate or suddenly slow down, sometimes turn right or left without a reason
  • in the Livonia dlc the more complex buildings like hangars, military barracks or factories seem to lack loot because one cannot find any in the rooms inside those buildings so there seems to be no reason to go from door to door in such buildings as you don’t find anything in those rooms
  • it happened to me once that a perfectly operational car which I had parked inside of my building suddenly got teleported outside of the building with everything broken. That happened when I reloaded my game on a vanilla server
  • when you break or crash your car and want to get back to it with new parts to install you discover that the car has disappeared and this is quite frustrating
  • zombies act weird when you attract them with your car running: they always run towards the vehicle regardless if you’re in or out and if the car is parked they keep standing next to it no matter what, they don’t even react when they see you
  • windows in some buildings are impenetrable so you can keep shooting at zombies outside and nothing happens
  • when using the orienteering compass you can barely see its directions due to the very bright light reflection, I believe it should be fixed to be actually useful and clear to read
  • every car with a running engine (regardless if it has pulled over or not) deals damage to nearby zombies or players. When you exit your car before turning the engine off, you also receive damage
  • when standing under some rooftops during a rainfall, the game fails to recognise that you are being protected from the rain and you eventually get wet. For example when you stay under your watchtower, I'm not sure if this has something to do with the fact that my watchtower haven't got the upper walls but only the lower ones. Same happens under some ruined buildings in Nidek and Lipina (Livonia), I mean when you are under a solid (not ruined) piece of rooftop obviously

Steps To Reproduce

The planks glitch: just pick one stack of planks, access the inventory mode, drag another stack to combine it with the one you're holding and you'll see your inventory window closes and the stacks haven't combined
The crashed car glitch: crash or break a car, leave it and walk away and then get back to it
The orienteering compass brightness: take the compass in hands, switch to 1st person view and look at it
The rooftop problem: go to Nidek or Lipina and hide under a solid piece of rooftop when it's raining, wait a moment to see that you get wet. The same in case of a watchtower - go on the last floor which has only a rooftop and lower frames + walls and you will notice you get wet anyway.

Additional Information

Suggestions:

  • Vehicles:
    1. players should be able to exit the car with engine up and running, as of now engine automatically turns off as you leave your car
    2. please make the tractors available to drive
    3. please add new cars, for example the yellow, police ones which you sometimes find broken on main roads
    4. please add trailers for cars to haul,
    5. accessible campers with interiors which one can attach to a car and campervans
  • Buildings:
    1. there are some inaccessible buildings, with locked up doors (for example some churches) but also every house has some kind of inaccessible doors - could you make them accessible please?
    2. please make most of windows able to open up and close just like you did in some churches
    3. it will be great if you add an option for all doors to put a combination lock on them
  • Clothes:
    1. overcoats and dusters
    2. shawls
    3. cowls + an option for hoodies to actually put the hood on by pressing a key with an animation for that. Putting the hood on could result in muffling the surrounding noise, being more focused on the sounds of footsteps or shots
    4. an additional slot for pouches in character’s inventory
  • Temperature:
    1. please make it more influential on the health bar and more dependant on the type of clothes you wear and dependant on whether you’re inside of a building or outside
    2. every source of heat or fire should have more impact on wet clothes so that once you have put them near the source, they dry off faster - perhaps you can add an option to grab a part of clothing in hands and activate the process of drying it off?
  • Crafting:
    1. lockers and wardrobes to craft or carry to your base
    2. chairs on which one can sit
    3. There are some piles of logs in the world so could they become a source of logs for players?
    4. One can find some places with bricks so can they become a building material to improve fences, build walls etc.? You can add new materials and items for bricks like spatulas, concrete, sand, glue, cement mixer
  • Animation and visuals:
    1. any process of sawing should look like it so when you create planks from logs or saw off a gun this should look like sawing just like in case of sawing a stack of planks
    2. process of weapon cleaning should have its own animation and sound
    3. process of using a duct tape should also has its own animation and sound
    4. driving over zombies sometimes look weird, for example a zombie appears on your car's mask or jumps out very high after the impact
    5. when some part of clothing is soaking wet it or even just wet it should look so and it should be dripping
    6. while driving, the player should be able to open up the map or access their inventory (both the driver and the passengers)
  • Items:
    1. could you add cigarettes to smoke which would make your hunger level go down more slowly? Plus a smoking animation, obviously
    2. paints allowing to put them on character’s face for camouflage
    3. a gps device
    4. bins with inventory capacity
    5. please map another key than just Esc to exit the map as it's very inconvenient to reach for Esc each time, you should do it with F (action key) or Tab (inv key)
  • Zombies:
    1. I think it can make the game more challenging and fun if you made zombies able to climb ladders
    2. They should bang the door when they know you’re in the building
  • Weapons:
    1. could you add gas grenades?
    2. it will be great to see magnum-like revolvers
  • Livonia:
    1. It’s full of villages and forests but it lacks more interesting places to visit like major cities, large castles, yards etc. Maybe you could add junk yards or a quarry?
    2. there's also a lot of space on the outskirts of map, the most distant lands have very little places to visit
