- Start Arma 3
- Go to Editor
- Make it night-time (whenever lights are on by default)
- Place in any unit equipped with a weapon with any scope next to light source (doesn't matter if it's in the default scenario like a street light or if it is from a vehicle)
- Preview the scenario
- Block light source from view with the attached scope
Observed: Light source is not obstructed unless the weapon itself is obstructing it
Expected: Light source should be obstructed when blocked by the scope
With and without any mods (only dlc)
All settings at max except view distance but I seriously doubt that has something to do so I'll be more specific if it's necessary
I haven't tried with all scopes but I have tried different ones and it happens exactly the same every time. Just as if there was no scope blocking the view
I have tried both different vehicles (first by scripting the lights to turn on, but then by default with AI turning lights on and it doesn't matter) and street lights.
This game barely uses lights I know (even though lighting is beautiful) so this is a very silly bug I think. But still I haven't seen any mention of it anywhere so I thought I should at least mention it here
