Occasionally when I exit a vehicle, the game will undergo a definite... almost like a massive lag spike; usually between 10-30 seconds where I am unable to interact inside the game at all and Windows will even prompt a dialog box informing me that DayZ is unresponsive, however if I wait it out no actual crash occurs, and I can continue on to die in some other manner.

Cars are already a suicidal death trap with out the ability to defend ourselves other than via vehicular manslaughter, and this would be a darn tootin shame dying in PvP while your character is batting their eyes at any incoming enemy threat.
