Go to Walmart and grab every variety of PS4, throw an SSD in, whatever, this problem affects everyone.

Load in and spawn yourself a vehicle, get in put it in gear and drive anywhere and you will eventually encounter a devastating freeze

The spike itself is completely random, you can be looking around while traveling 60km and not hit it, or you could be going 20km looking straight ahead and accelerate to your death without even knowing.

I understand that this is a difficult thing to detect and a fix may not be technically possible on this generations hardware, but there is a multitude of patchwork solutions you could implement to fix this.

• remove vehicles entirely
• remove damage to the vehicles and rebalance the health of car parts
• add the ability to repair the vehicle itself and boost health
• force the car to a complete stop if the acceleration is stuck on a specific value for too long
• magically make the game load smoother when driving

And just to be clear you lost the console players because you didn't fix tiny things like this and instead of removing broken things you pretend they work and move on to adding new shit, keep that up and good luck getting our money in the future.
