After the recent patch on PS4 whenever I'm in my inventory or pause menu using the D-pad to navigate down will also cause me to open chat within the server. For example I'm in my inventory and want to highlight an item 2 spaces down, doing his using the D-pad down will turn on my public microphone. This is bad because it will easily reveal you to other players.

Additional Information
Problem can be avoided by using the thumb stick to navigate rather then the D-Pad. However it's still more convincing to use the D-Pad and can be very infuriating.
