The MI-48 Kajman's windshield can withstand at least seven non-APDS 12.7mm rounds at point blank. It also prevents bullet penetration until it is completely removed due to bullet damage.

On the other hand, it only takes at least two 9.3mm rounds, at point blank, to kill a pilot aboard the Y32 Xi'an with a fully intact windshield. Unlike the Kajman, the Y32's windshield does not prevent bullet penetration.
