Man im with The same problem

If you know how to fix it let me know

I have no idea how that's why I put this here hoping they will fix it

Go on their Twitter. They tweeted an email to send your character ID to and they will kill your character and free it from the database. Just don't hop servers or log in and out frequently. It's a new system to stop duping and server hopping but it isn't working properly and it is locking people out permanently and corrupting the characters.

I did and they killed my character, about 5 hours later my character got locked again, it's no use in playing right now until they fix this.

Same here, locked out. Had so much hope for this game.

It only locks you out if you join and leave lobbies in a short period of time. There is a solution to the problem. The solution is don't switch servers. Stay on one until it resets and then rejoin it. If you hop servers you run the risk of being locked.

This isn't an exact science being I joined 3 servers back to back because the first one reset, the second crashed, and the third reset upon entering. That caused another lock.

Nevertheless, The system will always be in place. The current issue is it isn't supposed to lock you permanently. Since figuring out what not to do I've been fine.

Mine crashed, then I got locked out. Maybe the DayZ gods can recover my character, if not, I really dont give a f. Just unlock the damn thing.

Otherwise you can delete your character from the Xbox and Cloud! You need to press the Menu button on the game tile, then "Game and Add-ons will manage" saved data. "Then press A and delete both on your profile, this will not solve the problem but you can use the game again! Hope I could help! PS: Press A on your Savegame and select both manuel... not " delete all" on the top, they removed only the data on the Console, not from the Cloud!

Locked because the game crashed, why should I have to go on Twitter? What's the point of this xbox forum if they dont read it?

No. Just no. Either you're switching servers, you crashed multiple times in a short period , or for whatever reason you're using "exit now". No other causation. It isn't a bug. It is a counter measure for the duplication glitch and server hopping. The only bug is it being permanent and it locking people for crashing. They have already made this statement.
