Steps To Reproduce
Building a simple wall in a doorway to make into a gate i found myself unable to build top frame after completing bottom frame and timber wall. My character goes through the animation but nothing happens and the top frame does not appear. I logged out of the game and relogged back in to find my half a well is now invisible but still there. I cannot walk through the doorway but i can access the wall inventory where i have planks and nails inside. I am unable to complete the wall and am now trapped inside the room.
Additional Information
I would also like to touch on the fact that without indestructible bases and better code locks then you may as well remove base building from the game all together as the time taken (many hours) to actually build a base is pointless without actually being able to secure the base therefore has no real point.

Still the same issue remains today except i am able to walk through the invisible fence and exit the room. Hard to grasp how a whole important section of a game can not work yet be released anyway. This game is still in beta testing as far as i can see. Ive wasted so many hours collecting everything to build a base (over 8 hours) for it then to disappear whilst constructing. How can modded servers be so much more advanced then the actual biostudio version? The recent update was good to see but this game is far to broken to be released with all the advertised features that simply do not work.

Its quite clear that your version of the game is to broken to be played, with constant crashes and broken aspects of the game i dont see how you can say this game is out of Beta testing. I cannot and will not be playing your version of DayZ as it is to broken. Although i am quite frustrated with trying i will bite my tongue and be reasonable and respectful. DayZ is far from being playable and should not have been released in its current condition. Shame on you! shame shame shame.

To add to the op's comments; I have had similar issues. Build parts of both fences and walls are not always possible to construct, sometimes it might a lower part of a wall, sometimes the upper. It would make a lot more sense if the fence and watchtower kits only allowed successful placement if the structure can be built in it's entirety.
