If you are holding an item and lay down on your back (using right click to flip over) and press F5 the item you are holding will disappear never to be seen again, it doesn't go into your inventory, it doesn't get dropped, re-logging doesn't make it appear again, it's gone. Haven't tested if it's any position or if it's only the F5 emote because i don't want to lose anymore items but it is replicatable.

Hold an item, go prone, use right click to lay on your back, and press F5, boom item deleted.

Tested it some more and it turns out that emoting just deletes your held item, me and my group have lost 2 guns so far from this.
